Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks like narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different models differ when it comes to the way they operate. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture operate on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle models designed for use inside warehouses and various other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs according to the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
